Alma Jean (Anthony) Kelly

Alma Jean Kelly, age 89, of Milford, beloved wife of the late Raymond L. Kelly entered into peaceful rest on Tuesday October 25.  Alma was born in Mountain View, NJ on April 10, 1927 to the late Bruce and Alma Davis Anthony.  In addition to being a cherished homemaker, she was very active in raising and donating money for multiple charities.  Alma Jean was also a member of the VFW and helping the veterans always had a special place in her heart.  Survivors include her three children: Michael Gary Kelly and his wife Sharon of Portage, Indiana, Susan Jean Kelly of West Haven and Bonnie Ann Kelly of Seymour, three grandchildren, Jennifer Phillips, Patrick Raymond and his wife Meghan and Michael Carl Vogt, two great grandchildren, Logan and Madeline Phillips and a niece, Judith Gluck and her husband Paul of Stevens, PA. She was predeceased by a son, James Kelly and a daughter, Patricia Kelly and her beloved brother, William McDonald.  A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 31st at 10:00 AM at The Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home, 291 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford. Interment will follow in King’s Highway Cemetery, Milford. Family and friends may call on Sunday, October 30 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made in her memory to the Disabled American Veterans.
