Beatrice I (Lafountaine) Cote

Beatrice I. Cote, age 93, of Milford, beloved wife of the late Rene J. Cote, entered into peaceful rest on Wednesday, January 13, 2016.  Beatrice was born in Old Town, Maine on February 7, 1922 to the late Damase and Alberta Fortier Lafountaine.  Mrs. Cote spent most of her life in Bridgeport. She was a lifelong member of the Catholic War Veterans, Auxiliary of the Lt. R. J. Bower, Post 1466 in Fairfield.
Survivors include her devoted daughters, Irene A. LaConte (Patrick) of Milford and Lorraine Hornyak of Manchester , NH, son, Arthur Cote of Oregon, brother, Joseph David Lafountaine, sisters; Rita Smith, Laura Williamson, Cecile Cone and Bernadette Kent, nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.  Beatrice is predeceased by her two sons, Louis and Robert Cote and a son-in-law, John Hornyak.
Friends and family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Ann Church, 501 Naugatuck Avenue, Milford.  Interment will be at the convenience of the family.  The Gregory F Doyle Funeral Home is in care of arrangements.
