Carol (Lunde) Cobb

Carol Lunde Cobb, age 79, beloved wife of 58 years to William L. Cobb of East Haven and formerly of Milford entered into eternal rest on Nov. 30, 2016 at West River Rebab Center in Milford surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Cobb was born on Sept. 15, 1937 in Bridgeport and was the daughter of the late Arne M. Lunde and the late Grace (Mackie) Argetsinger and her husband Steven. She worked at Burndy’s for over 20 years before her retirement.

In addition to her devoted husband, she leaves, her son, William J. Cobb of Milford, her daughter, Pamela A. Hopkins of East Haven, her sister, Martha Grindrod of Milford and four grandchildren, Bryan Cullen, Alexandra and Andrew Bardelli and Abigail Hopkins. Her son, Jeffery Cobb, her daughter, Kimberly Riopel and her brother and sister, Arne Lunde and Judith Clini predeceased her.

Family and friends may call on Monday, Dec. 5 at the Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home, 291 Bridgeport Ave., Milford from 5 to 7 p.m. with a service to follow at 7:00 p.m. Committal will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
