David J. King

David King, age 62, of Milford, beloved husband of Lynn-Marie Stanley King for 38 years, died on Tuesday, January 10, 2017.  David was born in Milford on September 28, 1954 to the late James and Bruna Fantchi King.  David was the proud owner of Milford Monument, which was founded by his late grandfather in 1949.  Before working at Milford Monument he was an EMT, a police officer and a retired firefighter in Milford.  David was also a proud member of the Milford Kiwanis Club and the Knights of Columbus.  David is survived by his cherished children: James Travers King, Justin David King and Rachel Marie King, sister; Emily King Doiron, sister-in-law; Kathleen Travers and several nieces and nephews.  Friends and family are invited to greet the family on Friday from 4:00 pm-8:00 pm at THE GREGORY F DOYLE FUNERAL HOME, 291 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford.  A service will be held at 7:30 pm.  A graveside service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 am in Milford Cemetery, 35 Gulf Street.
