Marie Ann (Casey) Czubatyj

Marie Casey Czubatyj, wife of Jerome (Jake) Czubatyj, passed away on August 14, 2016.  Marie was born and raised in Bridgeport, CT, daughter of the late Howard and Marie Burke Casey.  In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Amici and her husband Chris, son, Stephen Czubatyj, sister, Cheryl Casey Krafick and many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  Marie was predeceased by her sister, Sr. Mary Howard SSND, two brothers-in-law; George Krafick and Lubomyr Czubatyj, sister-in-law, Zenovia Czubatyj and niece, Cheryl Krafick.  She was retired from Southern New England Telephone Company and Stop & Shop.  Marie was a member of St. Mary’s R.C. Church Ladies Guild and for many years a dedicated volunteer at Golden Hill Rehab Pavillion.  Friends and family may call on Thursday, August 18th from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm in The Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home, 291 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford.  Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 10:30 am DIRECTLY in Saint Mary Church, Milford.  Interment will follow in Saint John’s Cemetery, Stratford.
