Rose Marie (Maguire) Dalton

Rose Marie Dalton, age 104, of Brooklyn, CT, beloved wife of the late John T. Dalton Sr., died on Monday, September 26, 2016.  Mrs. Dalton was born in Birmingham England on November 9, 1911 to the late John and Edith Slaney Maguire.  She came to America in 1919 and lived in Milford for most of her life.  She was also a longtime parishioner of Saint Ann Church.  Survivors include her devoted daughter-in-law, Anecia-Lee Dalton of Moosup, CT, three sisters; Ann Warner of Texas, Margaret Farnam and Dorothy Grady both of Milford, three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Dalton is predeceased by her son, John T. Dalton Jr., brother, John J. Maguire and sisters; Edith Goneconto, Ellen Maguire, Catherine Paul, Virginia Taurick, and Mary Skudlarek.  Friends and relatives are invited to greet the family on Thursday morning, September 29th from 9:30AM-10:30AM in The Gregory F Doyle Funeral Home, 291 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 11:00 at Saint Gabriel Church, 26 Broadway, Milford.  Interment will follow in Saint Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
