Shirley Radel Marshall, age 80, of Milford, beloved wife of the late Clarence (Larry) Marshall, died on Sunday April 8, 2018 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. Shirley was born in Bridgeport on May 31, 1937 to the late Frederick and Dora Priestly Radel. She worked at Allied Signal, which was formerly Textron and Avco Lycoming, for over 30 years in property administration and was a parishioner of First Congregational Church in Stratford. Shirley was a lunch attendant at JFK Elementary school for many years and volunteered at the Milford Fire Department answering phones. She also enjoyed knitting and sewing. Survivors include her children: Robert Marshall of West Haven and Linda Marshall of Waterbury, and beloved grandson, Brian Marshall and his wife Victoria of Meriden. Shirley is predeceased by her sisters; Jean Radel and Joyce Fagan. Family and friends may call on Wednesday, April 11th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the GREGORY F. DOYLE FUNERAL HOME, 291 BRIDGEPORT AVENUE, MILFORD, CT. A Funeral service will be held on Thursday April 12th at 10:00 am in the funeral home followed by interment in Maple Grove Cemetery, Easton.
