Steven A Gibbons

Steven A. Gibbons, age 71, of Milford, entered into eternal rest on April 8, 2018, after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease at Gardner Heights in Shelton surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on May 15, 1946 in New Haven and was the son of the late Peter and Josephine (Auger) Gibbons. Steven was a track foreman for Amtrak Railroad for many years before his retirement.  He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed his time at the beach.

Steven is survived by his devoted daughter, Kimberly Mester and her husband Joseph of Milford and his son, Michael Gibbons of Meriden, four loving grandchildren, Alexis, Joseph Jr., Hailey and Michael, Jr. He also leaves behind his life companion, Marcia Folderauer of Danbury. His brother, Peter Gibbons predeceased him.

Family and friends may call on Thursday, April 12th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m. at the GREGORY F. DOYLE FUNERAL HOME, 291 BRIDGEPORT AVENUE, MILFORD, CT. Interment will be private.
