Virginia M. (Pivarnik) Booth

Virginia M. Booth, age 85, of Milford, beloved wife of Robert C. Booth for 65 years, died peacefully on April 25, 2017 with her family by her side.  Mrs. Booth was born in Bridgeport, CT to the late Peter and Sophie Pivarnik.  She was a member of the American Legion and the Garden Club in Milford.  She is survived by her five children: Sharon Murphy of Milford, Karen Kidney and her husband David of Stratford, Roberta Gulish and her husband Peter of North Carolina, Richard Booth and his wife Lisa of West Haven and Darrin Booth and his wife Angela of Orange as well as 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Booth is predeceased by her brother, Frederick Pivarnik.  Services will be private.  The Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home is in care of her arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Yale Smilow Breast Center, the CT Special Olympics, or CT Hospice in Branford.
