MULLINS- John "Jack" W. Mullins, age 88, beloved husband of the late Patricia A. Mullins, passed peacefully in his home, surrounded by his loving family, October 24, 2012. Mr. Mullins was born in Bridgeport, CT on August 19, 1924 to the late John and Elsie Schroeder Mullins. He served honorably in the US Army during World War II. He was a life-long Milford resident and worked as a life insurance agent at the John Hancock Life Insurance Company for 38 years. Mr. Mullins also served as chairman of the board of the Laurel Beach Association. His greatest joy in life was his wife of 62 years, his loving children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mr. Mullins is survived by his six children: John J. Mullins and his wife Phyllis of Milford, Diane Ohlson and her husband Edward of Allentown PA, Susan Secondi and her husband Robert of Milford, Linda Gilbert and her husband William "Butch" of Milford, Paul Mullins and his wife Elizabeth of Orange and James Mullins and his wife Victoria of Orange. "Pop†also had 16 grandchildren, five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Jack is survived by two sisters, Patricia Dinan and Jean Bown and pre-deceased by a brother, William Mullins. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at ST ANN CHURCH, 501 Naugatuck Ave, Milford on SATURDAY morning, November 3rd at 10 AM. Interment with Military Honors will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call Sunday, from 3-6PM at The Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home, 291 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford. In lieu of flowers,donations may be made to Saint Gabriel's Church, 26 Broadway, Milford, CT 06460.

My deepest sympathy to your family. Jack came to the calling hours
and funeral of my husband Kenneth Schroeder Weise in Dec. 2009.
Ken often spoke of Aunt Elsie and jack, Billy and their sisters.

I can't express now saddened was at hearing the news that your dad had past away. I know this has been a difficult year for the Mullins family. I have known your family now for about 36 years and I can tell you that both your mom and dad always welcomed us into their home and treated us like family.
