Anita B. Nelson, age 100, of Milford, beloved wife of the late Ralph E. Nelson for 66 years, died on December 28th at the Milford Health Care Center. Mrs. Nelson was born in Pendleton, Ontario, Canada on June 17, 1912 to the late Josephine and Joseph Rozon, the sixth of ten children. The family later moved to Cheshire, Massachusetts. Mr. and Mrs. Nelson married in 1933 and moved to Connecticut where she was a homemaker for most of her life. She is survived by her four children: Joyce Johnson (Victor) of Colorado, Corrine Wilkinson of Stratford, Donald (Mary Ann) Nelson of Milford and Lois (Robert) Thompson of West Haven, 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She is also survived by her two sisters; Gabrielle Bevan and Bibian Bennett of Dalton, MA and many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial directly in Saint Mary's Church, Milford, on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 9AM. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
