Charles J. Seefeldt, age 83, beloved husband of 63 years to Hedwig (Bergmiller) Seefeldt of Milford and formerly of Norwalk, entered peaceful rest on Sunday, February 16, 2020. Their 63rd wedding anniversary was on the day he passed.
He was born on October 1, 1936 in the Bronx, New York and was the son of the late Charles and Helen (Gregory) Seefeldt. Mr. Seefeldt proudly served with the U.S. Army. He enjoyed having Sunday dinners with his family, securing the best deals at tag sales all over Milford, and finding benches to sit on all over the country. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time at local German Clubs. Charles was known for his trademark catchphrases and his charming personality.
In addition to his devoted wife, he leaves three children, Theresa Reinholz and her husband Thomas of Milford, Charles Seefeldt and his wife Bethany of Derby and Christopher Seefeldt and his partner, Daniel Karol of Clermont, FL, three grandchildren, Erica and Ava Reinholz and Jayden Cooper and several nieces and nephews. His sister, Barbara Seefeldt predeceased him.
