Beth Piper Amato, 59, of Milford, entered peaceful rest on August 4, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was born on April 26, 1959 in Bridgeport and was the daughter of Barbara (Behn) Piper of Milford and the late Robert A. Piper.
Beth enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved to cook for those she loved and enjoyed cooking shows and trying new restaurants. Beth touched the lives of everyone she met. Beth worked several years at Burndy and Kingdom Life CC and later in the Mortgage industry. Beth had a strong faith and was always thinking of others before herself. She was always there for her friends and family and would go out of her way to help anyone in need. She always had a smile on her face, and she especially enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews.
In addition to her mother, Beth leaves her five devoted sisters, Bonnie Peloso (Bob) of Milford; Beverly Boehmke (Paul) of Trumbull; Barbara Hobson (Joseph) of Milford; Beryl Piper (Ron Pringle) of Burlington; and Brenda Boyd (Tyrone) of Milford and nieces and nephews, Brian Peloso (Keri), Stephen Boehmke (Nick), Emily Harwell (Jeff), Kristen Peloso, Calvin and Nolan Boyd and two grand nephews, Nathan and Leo. She will be dearly missed by her two cats, Gracie and Katie. A special thank you to her best friends, Nora Alicea and Sandra Jordan. The family would like to thank the staffs of Yale Floor 7 East and Milford Health Care for their care and compassion.
A Memorial Service will be celebrated at the Stratford United Methodist Church, 2600 Main Street, Stratford on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, family wishes for you to donate to a charity of your choice in Beth’s memory.
