Bridget M. Warner, age 75, of Milford, beloved wife of Lawrence E. Warner Jr. for 52 years, died on September 26th, 2018 surrounded by her family. Bridget was born in Londonderry, Northern Ireland on February 10, 1943 to the late James and Mary Ann Heslin McDermott.
She was a giver and a doer.. helping friends and family in so many ways, planting bulbs, helping with housework, keeping them company. She volunteered at Milford Hospital for over 40 years. Bridget shared her love of life with everyone.
She loved her family and her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She was active in their lives attending events regardless of the weather!
Bridget loved to have fun..known for dressing up in silly outfits for Halloween, playing cards with her friends, enjoying Bible study and going camping with her husband Larry and their camping buddies.
She was a resourceful woman who worked hard her whole life, loved her Irish heritage, and always had a smile on her face.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two children, Sharon Warner of West Haven and Kelly Dempsey of Milford, grandchildren; Sarah and Max Dempsey, five sisters: Florence Kokoruda of Stratford, Gina Moran of Florida, Tracey O’Donnell of South Carolina, Margaret Bircher of England and Marcrena Mooney of Northern Ireland and several nieces and nephews. Bridget is predeceased by her three brothers and one sister.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday October 8th at 9:30 am in Saint Mary Church, Milford followed by interment in Milford Cemetery. The Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
