Diane G (Chapman) Barber

Diane G. Barber, age 81, of Milford, beloved wife of Richard T. Barber Sr., died on Sunday, April 9, 2017.  Diane was born in Bridgeport, CT on June 8, 1935 to the late Arthur and Marian Chavell Chapman.  She worked as an inspector at Schick in Milford for many years.  She was a member of the Milford Senior Center and sang in their choral group. She also enjoyed traveling with her friend Jackie, and loved to shop and spend quality time with her family.  Survivors include her children: Dawn Williamson of Milford, Robin Warcholic (Alton) of West Haven, Delight Zadrozny (Zbigniew) of Stratford, niece, Lynn Ortoli (Fred) of Oxford, seven grandchildren; Cherish, Jessica, Michelle and Samantha Warcholic, Melissa and Nicole Williamson, Tyler Barber, 12 great-grandchildren; Austin, Felicity, Bailey, Gabriella, Jacob, Brandon, Troy, Sophia, Tristan, Sebastian, Tobias and Lilithbelle, and her beloved dogs, Poochy and boo boo.  Mrs. Barber is predeceased by her daughter, Deardre Barber, son, Richard T. Barber Jr. and sister, Maralyn Baker. 

Friends may call on Wednesday from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm in The Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home, 291 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford.  There will be a funeral service on Thursday at 10:00 am in the funeral home followed by interment in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport.
