Gaetano Nicholas Aliberto

Gaetano N. Aliberto, age 91, of Shelton, formerly of Stratford beloved husband of the late Rose (Pagella) Aliberto passed away on July 9, 2018.

He was born on October 25, 1926 in Bridgeport and was the son of the late Gerald and Adeline (Adaletta) Aliberti.

Mr. Aliberto was a lab results technician for UI Company for over 30 years before his retirement. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was an artist and enjoyed gardening, cooking bowling and playing pool over the years but most of all, he loved spending time with his family especially his great grandchildren.

He is survived by his devoted daughter, Debra Lucas and her husband Michael, his grandson, Mark P. Lucas all of Milford, great grandchildren, Gianna Rose Pach, Mackenzie Rose and Nicholas Steven Lucas. He also leaves his companion, Jennie Marro of Shelton, brothers and sisters in law and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his granddaughter, Melissa Lucas and his four brothers, Carmen, Nunzio, Eumbert and Ralph Aliberti and his sisters, Connie and Helen.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday July, 16th at 10 a.m. at the GREGORY F. DOYLE FUNERAL HOME, 291 BRIDGEPORT AVENUE, MILFORD. Interment to follow in Union Cemetery, Stratford. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to CT Hospice, 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, CT 06405.
