George J Parent

George J. Parent, age 78, of Milford, beloved husband of Emaline Parent, died on January 1, 2013. Mr. Parent was born in Pawcatuck, CT on June 4, 1934 to the late George and Hattie Parent. George was retired from the Bayer Corporation where he worked as a supervisor for 28 years. Survivors include his children: Linda Hoffman (Harvey) of West Haven, Laura Lucey (Todd) of Derby, Keith Parent (Mallory) of FL and Roger Parent of Milford, three grandchildren; Hayley, Meghan, and Kelly, two great-grandchildren, and one great-grandchild, a sister; Judy Sabatini (Reno) and brother, Raymond Whewell. Mr. Parent is pre-deceased by his grandson; Michael Koundry and five siblings. Friends may call on Friday night from 5:00-8:00PM in The Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home, 291 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CT Hospice, 100 Doublebeach Rd, Branford, CT 06405 in Mr. Parent's memory.
