Harry L Haigh

Harry Lewis Haigh, age 80, of Milford, beloved husband of 50 years to Diane C. (Riccio) Haigh, died peacefully in his sleep on September 21st, 2017 after a long and courageous battle with an illness.

He was born on Sept. 28, 1936 in Paterson, NJ and was the son of the late Harry Webster and Liza (Lewis) Haigh. He is predeceased by his loving in-laws; Rocky and Rose Riccio.  Harry was a maintenance mechanic for CT Light & Power for over 34 years before his retirement. He proudly served with the U.S. Navy.  Harry enjoyed fishing, clamming, and had a love for dogs. 

In addition to his devoted wife, he leaves his loving children, Kimberly Ozosz (Paul) of CT, Harry C. Haigh (Joanne) of TN and Bonnie Hakins (Roger) of CT and six grandchildren, Jimmy, Jocelyn. Kyle, Kennedy, Tiernee and Gabriella and a great grandson, Zachary. He is also survived by his brother in law and sisters in law, Elaine and Dave Shaw and Judy Riccio.

A Funeral Service with Military Honors will be held on Wednesday, September 27th at 10:30 a.m. at THE GREGORY F. DOYLE FUNERAL HOME, 291 BRIDGEPORT AVENUE, MILFORD. Interment will be private. Family and Friends may call on Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
