Joan Ann (Nalewaik) Haas

Joan Ann Haas, age 85, beloved wife of the late Richard L. Haas Sr., died on Monday, February 27, 2017.  Joan Ann was born in Bridgeport, CT on July 12, 1931 to the late Joseph and Elizabeth Marton Nalewaik.  She worked as a blister packer at Bic Corp for many years.  Her passion was to read and had a beautiful soprano singing voice.  Survivors include her children: Richard L. Haas Jr. and his wife Debra of Bristol, Ronald L. Haas of Milford, Terri Miles of Milford, 10 grandchildren; Ricky, Shauna, David, Christine, Kim, Ronnie, Billy, Melissa, Bobby and Cherilyn, 16 great-grandchildren, sister; Sister Joyce Martin Nalewaik of Buffalo, NY, her cherished dog, Spooky and several nieces and nephews.  Joan Ann is predeceased by her brother, Joseph Nalewaik Jr.  Friends may call on Thursday morning from 9:30 am-10:30 am in The Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home, 291 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford.  Friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Thursday at 11:00 am in Saint Ann Church, 501 Naugatuck Avenue, Milford.  Interment will follow in Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield.
