Kellie Susan Roper

Kellie Susan Roper, age 48, of Milford died on Monday, August 13, 2018 surrounded by family and friends.  Kellie was born in Bridgeport on April 27, 1970 to Judith Heaphy Roper and the late Daniel V. Roper.  Kellie was a graduate of Lauralton Hall and UCONN.  She was a Senior Provider Advocate for over 25 years at United Healthcare.  She loved running and was an ironman triathlete.  Kellie ran a number of road races including the New York City Marathon.  She loved spending time at the beach with her sister and enjoyed vacations at the cottage with her mom and extended family.  She will be dearly missed by all of her running mates, friends and family.  Survivors, in addition to her mother Judy, include her sister, Shannon Giordano (Fred) of Milford, godson and nephew, Rick Giordano, aunt, Eileen Heaphy, her best friend of 20 years, Nicole Korzun of Milford and many cousins. Kellie is predeceased by her sister, Kathleen Roper.  Friends and Family are invited to greet the family on Thursday, August 16th from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm in The Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home, 291 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford.  A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home on Friday, August 17th at 11:00 am.  Interment will be private.
