Lucia (Sullivan) Saley

Lucia Sullivan Saley, age 85, of Milford, beloved wife of John W. Saley for 63 years, died on Monday, February 12th, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.  Lucia was born in Waterbury on August 9th, 1932 to the late Henry and Lucy Heffernan Sullivan.  Lucia was a Registered Nurse for over 40 years and worked in various facilities around the area.  Survivors include her children: Michael Saley (Jean), Carol Tynes (Larry), Robert Saley (Sharon), Kathleen Plaskon (Dave), William Saley (Kathy), Christopher Saley (Cheryl) and John Saley (Lisa), sister, Carole Marzi (Richard) 17 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  Lucia is predeceased by her son, Joseph Saley.  Friends and family may call on Friday from 4:00PM-7:00PM in The Gregory F Doyle Funeral Home, 291 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00AM Saturday morning in St Gabriel Church, 26 Broadway, Milford.
