Marguerite (Trifari) Leonard

Marguerite Leonard, age 77, of Woodbridge, beloved wife of the late David Leonard, died on Tuesday, August 22, 2017.  Marguerite was born in the Bronx, NY on October 10, 1939 to the late Walter and Helen McDowell Trifari.  She was an active member in St Andrew's Episcopal Church.  Marguerite is survived by her four chlildren; Patricia Pasley (Kevin) of Bethany, John Leonard (Nicoleta) of Trumbull, Rob Leonard (Mara) of Bethany and Eileen Taylor (Conley) of Bethany, 3 siblings; Walter Trifari, Rita Gallo and Alice Dileo, fifteen grandchildren, who lovingly call her “Grandma," Brendan, Maura, Aidan, Madeline, Jack, Will, Mimi, Clara, Tommy, Lyra, Fiona, Henry, Roxanne, Kathleen and Maddie and several nieces and nephews.  Marguerite is predeceased by her two sons; Thomas and Matthew Leonard and two brothers; James and John Trifari.  Friends and family are invited to call on Friday, August 25th from 5:00PM-8:00PM in The Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home, 291 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford.  Friends may also call on Saturday morning, August 26th from 9:00am–9:45am in the Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held in Saint Andrew’s Episcopal Church at 10:00am followed by a burial in Carrington Cemetery in Bethany.
