Marguerite "Rite" (Doerner) Leopold

Marguerite “Rite” Leopold, age 71, of Shelton, beloved wife of Robert W. Leopold for 28 years, passed away on Monday, March 13th 2017.  Marguerite was born in Bridgeport on July 10, 1945 to the late Sharron and Marguerite Washburn Doerner.  She worked as a receptionist in Bridgeport for many years.  Survivors include her two sons; Stephen Rodgerson  (Elizabeth) of Trumbull and Jamie Rodgerson (Kristine) of New Jersey, sister, Charlotte Boroway of Trumbull and brothers; Thomas Doerner (Jeanne) and William Doerner (Julie) both of Monroe, step-children; Robert Leopold (Sally) of MA, Tammy Leopold (Kevin Saunders) of South Glastonbury, Tracy Materetsky (Steve) of NJ, Jennifer Louis (JJ) of West Hartford and Jaison Leopold of Shelton and several loving nephews, nieces and cousins.  Marguerite is predeceased by her brother, Sharron Elliot Doerner, sister, Marsha Gabris and nephew, Thomas Boroway.  Services will be private.
