Matthew G Marcello

Matthew Garrett  Marcello, age 40, of Milford entered eternal rest on July 30, 2017. He  was born on January 18, 1977 in Bridgeport and was the son of Daniel Charles  and Cheryl Louise (Ericson) Marcello of Milford. Matthew was a meteorology enthusiast and planned to go back to school to continue his studies for it. He was also an avid photographer, baker and gardener, loved country music, watching sports and funny movies. He also enjoyed being on the family boat, gatherings with family and friends, being outside on a warm, sunny day and hanging out with Tyler the family cat. In addition to his devoted parents, Matthew leaves his loving siblings, Kenneth Daniel Marcello of Milford and Julia Laureen Marcello of Ansonia. He is predeceased by his grandparents, May and Harold Ericson and Irene and Leonard Marcello as well as his uncles Ernest Boda, Salvatore Criscuolo, and William Porter, Jr., and an aunt, Helen Porter. Family and friends may call on Thursday, August 3rd from 9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at the GREGORY F. DOYLE FUNERAL HOME, 291 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford.  A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. in St. Agnes Church, Milford.  Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Milford.
