Nicholas John Casey

Nicholas John Casey, age 29, of Milford, beloved son of Timothy “TJ” and Jacqueline Sconzo Casey, entered eternal life on Saturday September 16th, 2017.  Nick was born in New Haven on November 18th, 1987.  He graduated from Emerson College in 2010 with a degree in screenwriting.  He enjoyed spending time outdoors and had a passion for writing. He always put family first and knew how to bring out the best in everyone around him. His infectious smile lit up every room. Survivors include his siblings: Margaret “Meghin” Casey of Reston, VA, Timothy John “TJ” Casey Jr. (Alexandra) of Fairfield, Anthony Casey (Susan) of Arnold, Maryland, Ryan Casey (Ewelina) of San Diego, CA, and Erin Casey of Milford, his maternal grandmother, Jacqueline Sconzo of West Haven, his cherished dog, Cole, 11 nieces and nephews: Kaila and her fiance Mihran Erkiletian, Cuinn, Cobi, Faith, Jaxson, Olivia, Cian, Keegan, Brogan, Liam and Shea Casey and many adoring aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  Friends are invited to greet the family on Wednesday, September 20th from 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm in THE GREGORY F. DOYLE FUNERAL HOME, 291 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford.  A Funeral Mass will be held in Saint Mary’s Church, Milford at 10:30 am on Thursday September 21st followed by the interment in Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Milford.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bridges’ Community Support Services or the Connecticut Humane Society.
