Robert Michael Braga, age 71, beloved husband of Arlene M. (Wilcinskas) Braga of Milford, passed away on June 16, 2018 at Milford Hospital.
He was born on Dec. 2, 1946 in Vienna, Austria and was the son of Kunigunde “Kim” (Glueck) Braga of Wallingford and the late Joseph Braga.
Mr. Braga was a conductor for Metro North Railroad from 1972 to 2011. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was an avid chess player.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by two daughters, Kimberly McCarthy (Michael) of Naugatuck and Danielle Braga of Hamden, three grandchildren and his sister, Cindi Maguire of Cheshire. His son, Christopher Braga predeceased him.
Services will be held in private.
