Susan Grace (Velanzon) Caputo

Susan Grace Caputo, age 94, of Milford, beloved wife of the late Michael Mario Caputo, died on Saturday, April 14th 2018. Susan was born in Dunmore, Pennsylvania on August 17, 1923 to the late Peter and Mary Lacerenza Velanzon. Susan was a loving member of a large family and her home in Stamford was always filled with her extended family and many friends. She was a sweet and kind woman whose smile could brighten anyone’s day. Survivors include her cherished son, Michael P. Caputo and his wife Barbara of Milford, sister, Carmella Addazio of FL, six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Susan is predeceased by her son, Frank J. Caputo, and five siblings: Patrick, Domenic, Peter, and Michael Velanzon and Dolores Pia. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Carriage Green in Milford for their support and compassionate care of Susan.  Calling hours will be private for family members on Sunday, April 22, 2018 from 2 pm to 4 pm. Interment will be at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in Susan’s memory.
