Walter J Carson

Walter J. Carson, age 75, of Milford, entered peaceful rest on December 24, 2018 at Milford Hospital.

Son of the late Walter and Rachael (Fossi) Carson and was born on Dec. 9, 1943. He was united with Walter J. Staley for the past 58 years. Walter was a Manufacturing Engineer and Industrial Engineer for many years at AVCO Lycoming in Stratford. He was an active member of the United Church on the Green, UCC in New Haven. He enjoyed writing poems, short stories and was working on his first novel and Civil War buff.

In addition to Walter, he leaves his siblings, Angie Salanto, Linda Carson, Irene Thibodeau, Dorothy Arias, Florence Lewis, and Lillian Pouliot. He was predeceased by his brother, William D. Carson, sisters, Laura Carson, Carol Janov and Mildred Sherry. 

Family and friends may call on Saturday, Dec. 29th from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. with a Funeral Service to follow at 10:30 a.m. at the GREGORY F. DOYLE FUNERAL HOME, 291 BRIDGEPORT AVENUE, MILFORD. Interment to follow in Milford Cemetery, Milford.
