Andrea Keating

Andrea Keating, age 76, of Milford, entered peaceful rest on September 26, 2023 surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born on June 6, 1947 in Bridgeport and was the daughter of the late Stuart and Dolores (Warner) Jersey. Andrea started her career as a beautician and later became a Certified Nurse’s aide and worked at a few area nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Her greatest joy was her children and grandchildren and she enjoyed gardening.

Andrea is survived by her devoted children, Jennifer Keating-Tomasko of Milford and Matthew Keating and his wife Tina of Ansonia, two cherished grandchildren, Adam and Carly Tomasko of Milford. She also leaves her sister, Kathleen Morin (Serge) of Naugatuck and her brother, Robert Jersey (Mary) of Ansonia and her sister-in-law, Donna Jersey of Milford and several nieces and nephews. Her brother, Ronald Jersey predeceased her.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Wednesday October 4th from 4 to 7 p.m. at THE GREGORY F. DOYLE FUNERAL HOME, 291 BRIDGEPORT AVENUE, MILFORD.  A Prayer Service will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Funeral Home and interment will be private.
