Mr. Andrew Theodore Hoponick, Jr. age 78, entered peaceful rest on October 11, 2019 at Waterbury Hospital.

He was born on June 28, 1928 in Milford and was the son of the late Andrew Theodore Hoponick, Sr, and Mildred Elizabeth (Surgalis) Hoponick. He enjoyed his work as a farrier for many years and was also worked in construction before his retirement.

Mr. Hoponick is survived by his son, Jason Hoponick and wife Deborah of Waterbury, brothers, Ralph Hoponick of Maryland and Dennis Hoponick and two grandchildren. He also leaves several nieces nephews and cousins.

Services will be held in private.
