Bessie Ann (Roe) Iassogna

Bessie Ann Iassogna, age 79 of Milford, beloved wife of the late Michael Iassogna entered peaceful rest on December 25, 2023. 

She was born on December 16, 1944 in Milford and was the daughter of the late William and Bessie (Redden) Roe. Bessie taught 5th and 6th grade at Seabreeze and Meadowside School for 35 years before her retirement. 

Bessie is survived by her step-son, Matthew Iassogna, Sr. (Stacy) of Georgia, two grandchildren, Diana and Matthew, Jr., her sister in law, Rachael Marko of Milford and her brothers in law, Paul Lentine (Kathy) of Bridgeport and Gary Lentine of Florida and many dear friends.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, April 8, 2024 at 11 a.m. at King's Highway Cemetery, Milford. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The United Church of Christ in Devon, 30 Ormond St. Milford, CT 06461 to the attention of Marcie Stern, Financial Secretary.
