Carol Rose Schuler

Carol Rose Schuler, age 84 of Milford, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 29, 2023 at the Orange Health Care Center.  She was the loving widow of Richard A. Schuler, Sr.

Carol was born March 23, 1939 in Bridgeport to the late Tony Luca and Betty Ann Puglia.  She worked as a Paraprofessional in the Milford School System for 26 years.
She enjoyed watching both the men’s and women’s UCONN Huskies play basketball.  Her favorite flowers were daisies and favorite color was purple.  Carol loved to spend hours talking on the phone with family and friends, and had an unbelievable talent for remembering everyone’s birthdays.

Carol will be sadly missed by her sons: Richard Schuler, Jr. and his wife Barbara of Trumbull, and Stephen A. Schuler and his wife Alexis of Bridgeport; and grandchildren: Zachary Schuler and Stephen (Sonny) Schuler.  In addition to her husband and parents, Carol was predeceased by her sister Jeannette Dinan, and her brother Patrick Puglia.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 3, 2023 from 10:00 am -11:00 am at the GREGORY F. DOYLE FUNERAL HOME, 291 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford with burial to follow in Kings Highway Cemetery, 271 Cherry Street, Milford.
