Dan J. Weiss

Dan J. Weiss, 56, passed away on January 25, 2022. He was a lifelong Milford resident. He graduated from Platt Technical HS and attended Southern Connecticut State University, studying Engineering and Applied Physics. His many positions as an Application Engineer included a UK/US Applications Representative for Bridgeport Machines and as most recently CFA Inc. in Milford, CT. Beloved son of the late Russell P. and Barbara B. Weiss. Dear brother of Russell, Ann, and Erik Weiss of Milford, CT, Maureen(John) Beiser of GA, Deborah(Vincent) Fredericks of FL, Sharon (Joe)Carofano of NY. Uncle to Kate(Mike) Connolly, Vincent Fredericks(fiancee Danielle Poirier), Steven(Michelle) Fredericks, Rene(Daymon) Delaware, Barbara Fredericks(fiance Cory Ayers), Brian(Erin) Weiss, Nicole(Joshua) Cocce, Sean(Carrie) Weiss, John(Katherine)Carofano, and Alyssa Carofano. Dan’s sense of family was so strong, constantly keeping in touch with all 6 of siblings. He was passionate and protective about anything he believed in and when he was excited, he was “100% on it!” His interests in space explorations and science went so far beyond the usual inquiring mind. He could definitely hold his own intelligently with anyone who challenged him. He will forever be in our hearts and missed tremendously.

Friends and family may call on Wednesday, March 2nd, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. in THE GREGORY F. DOYLE FUNERAL HOME, 291 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford.  Interment will be private.
