Edward "Bob" Robert Kosa

Edward Robert “Bob” Kosa, age 84, beloved husband of Dianne (Surenko) Kosa entered peaceful rest on July 11, 2022.

Son of the late Edward and Mary (Banik) Kosa and was born on July 12, 1937 in Bridgeport. Bob was a U.S. Army veteran. He worked at Airlock in Milford before his retirement. He was an avid gardener and loved all animals and no wild animal went hungry in his yard. He enjoyed trips to the casino, watching football and golf and duckpin bowling.

In addition to his loving wife of 54 years, he leaves three children, Bruce Kosa (Deborah) of Cheshire, Kathleen Taylor (Billy) of Mississippi and Edward Kosa, Jr.(Rebecca) of South Windham, eight grandchildren, Don Piche, Joseph Dickson, Nicholas Kosa, Kristen and Brittany Hale, Dennis Oliver Barry,  Alyssa Murphy and Joe Merchant and a great grandson, James Hale. He also leaves his brother, William Kosa (MaryJane) of Stratford and several nieces and nephews. His granddaughter, Patrice Kosa and his brother, Richard Kosa predeceased him.

Family and Friends may call on Friday, July 15, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 11 a.m. with a Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at the GREGORY F. DOYLE FUNERAL HOME, 291 BRIDGEPORT AVENUE, MILFORD. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a local animal shelter of your choice.
