Eileen E. Lawton, age 91, longtime resident of Milford, entered into peaceful rest on November 21, 2020 at Milford Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Born on July 30, 1929 in Franklin Square New York, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Mary (Kaszner) Lawton.
She loved music and enjoyed singing. She was a talented artist, gifted at sewing, and greatly enjoyed trips to New Hampshire and the beach. More than anything she loved her family and spending time with her many nieces and nephews. She loved the family reunions between the Connecticut and Long Island relatives which were always filled with lots of love and plenty of laughter. She had a great memory and was our family historian of sorts.
Miss Lawton is survived by the daughters and their husbands of her beloved twin sister Jeanne. Pamela Morrell-Nielsen and her husband Frederick of Milford, Janet Muller-Tiroletto and her husband Anthony of West Haven, Karen Plaveck and her husband Bruce of Milford and Lisa Lesinsky and her husband Kenneth of Oxford and many other special nieces, great nieces, nephews and great nephews. Her brothers and sisters, Jeanne Morrell, Patricia Moffett, Elizabeth Cousino, Edward Lawton, William Lawton and Warren “Buck” Lawton predeceased her.
Funeral Services will be private due to the current pandemic. Arrangements have been entrusted with the GREGORY F. DOYLE FUNERAL HOME, 291 BRIDGEPORT AVENUE, MILFORD. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Foundation. To share a memory, please go to www.gregoryfdoylefuneralhome.com.
