Gael Ulisse

Gael Ulisse, age 77, of Milford, died at home on Sunday, April 23, 2023. Gael was born in Fall River, MA on May 11, 1945 to the late Manuel and Rose Catabia. She received her B.S. in Nursing at Salve Regina College in Rhode Island and her M.A. in Nursing at Columbia University in New York. Gael was an APRN for nearly 50 years, credentialed and specializing in clinical diabetes and education primarily at St. Vincent’s Medical Center and Yale New Haven Hospital. She was a published author, prolific teacher and honored lecturer at Yale University School of Nursing, St. Vincent’s Medical Center, AADE, ADA and CADE in addition to numerous other professional associations and community organizations. She was greatly respected and admired by her professional colleagues and by her patients. She is survived by her children Chris, Rebecca and Justin, four grandchildren, and her brother, Brian Catabia. Gael was dedicated to the service of others, and will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
