George Sardi

George Sardi, age 89, of Milford, beloved husband of the late Sheila Herbert Sardi, died on Thursday, May 17th, 2018 surrounded by his loving family.  George was born in Pecs, Hungary on April 11, 1929 to the late Gyorgy and Rozalia Csokona Sardi.  George worked as an inspector at Avco Lycoming for many years and was an avid photographer.  He loved movies and was a talented musician who loved to play the accordion and organ.  Survivors include his beloved children: Richard Sardi (Colleen) of Madison, Andrew Sardi (Linda) of Colchester, Julia Gerace (James) of Monroe and Stephen Sardi (Dawn) of Bethany and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  George is predeceased by his eldest son, Paul Sardi.  Friends and family may call on Monday, May 21st from 5:00pm – 7:00pm in The Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home, 291 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford.  The funeral service and interment will be private.
