Gerald R. Spiller, Sr. age 96, of Shelton, beloved husband of the late Marilyn (Mills) Spiller, entered peaceful rest on October 24 at his son’s home in New Hampshire.
Son of the late Ernest and Nora (Russell) Spiller, Gerald was born on October 13, 1926 in Mechanic Falls, Maine. Mr. Spiller was a mechanic for Milford Crane and Machine for over 41 years before his retirement. He continued to stay active and was still working at Wayne’s Auto Body in Milford until 2020.
Mr. Spiller is survived by his loving son, Gerald R. Spiller Jr. of Grantham, NH. Two grandchildren, Gerald Spiller III of NH and Candace Spiller of VA. Four great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, as well as his brother and best friend Zane Spiller and his wife Beverly of Milford and his sister, Virginia Lichac of CO.
Family and Friends may call on Thursday, October 27, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at the GREGORY F. DOYLE FUNERAL HOME, 291 BRIDGEPORT AVENUE, MILFORD. Interment to follow in King’s Highway Cemetery, Milford.
