Hazel D (Mallard) Wermuth

Hazel D. Wermuth, age 80, of Ansonia, beloved wife of the late Louis Wermuth Jr., died on Sunday, August 1, 2021.  Hazel was born in Statesboro, Georgia on October 10, 1940, to the late Ivy O. and Josie Stuervant Mallard.  She worked in packaging at Rexham Warnaco and was a proud US Marine Veteran.  Survivors include her daughter, Dorie Gemignani and her husband Bob of Milford and her son, Louis Wermuth III and his wife Rose of Pennsylvania, three grandchildren: Jason Wermuth and his wife Destiny, and Michael and Nicole Gemignani and one great-granddaughter, Chloe Wermuth.  Friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Monday, August 9, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. in Park Cemetery, 620 Lindley Street, Bridgeport.  The Gregory F.
