James C Sanderson Jr.

James Charles Sanderson Jr., age 72, of West Haven, beloved husband of Janice Pote Sanderson for 36 years, passed peacefully on Monday, June 14 surrounded by his family.  Jim was born in Bridgeport on October 26, 1948, to Josephine Micalizzi Sanderson and the late James C. Sanderson Sr.  Jim graduated from Harding High School in 1966 and then enrolled in the US Air Force.  For 10 years after, he was a resident of San Clemente, California.  When Jim returned to Connecticut, he then worked as a sales representative for Angelina Wines.  Jim loved to play golf, fish, was an excellent cook, and enjoyed nature.  Survivors, in addition to his wife Janice, include his stepdaughter, Kelly Kerekes of North Stamford, sister, Sharon Haviland (Mark) of Milford and nephews; TJ Faye (Fiance Lisa) of Norwalk and Sean Haviland of Milford.  Beach Services will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Milford Audubon Society.
