Jeanette Lena (Buzak) Aronson

Jeanette Lena Aronson, age 91, of Milford, beloved wife of the late Donald “Michael” Aronson, entered peaceful rest on February 17, 2023 at her home. She was born on February 26, 1931 in Bridgeport and the daughter of the late William and Sophie Szymanski Buzak.

She is survived by her son, George R. VanTine and his wife Mary Jo of Charleston, SC and her daughter, Christine Hoctor and her husband, Timothy of Lambertville, New Jersey and four grandchildren, George “Rob” VanTine, Jr., Aimee Kourafas and her husband, Nick, John Flemming and his partner Amanda and Cory Flemming and his wife Tracy and five great grandchildren, Catherine and Carissa, Gabriel, Cameron and Aria.  She also leaves her extended family, Michael Aronson (Susan) of IL, Lee Crocco (Anthony) of FL, Denise Piselli (Richard) of Milford, Donald Aronson (Melissa) of Milford, Dawn Lazzara (Vincent) of VT, Phil Simone (Donna) of Shelton, and their families and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, George F. Van Tine and her siblings, Lewis and Gertrude Perry, and William, Joseph and Raymond Buzak.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 4th at 9:00 a.m. at St. Ann Church (Saint Raphael Parish) 501 Naugatuck Avenue, Milford. Interment will follow in King’s Highway Cemetery, Milford. To share a memory, please visit www.gregoryfdoylefuneralhome.com
