Jessica Susan Schoonmaker

Jessica Susan Schoonmaker, age 32 of Shelton, beloved daughter, sister, and aunt, died on Thursday, December 24, 2020.  Jessica was born on December 6, 1988 in Milford and is the daughter of Susan Schoonmaker of Shelton and the late Donald Schoonmaker and Donald’s widow, Mary Ellen Schoonmaker of Hamden.  Jessica graduated from ACES High school in Hamden.  She had a deep love for her family and enjoyed carnivals, bowling, merry-go-rounds, and all things Disney.  She is survived by her brothers, Christopher Kuba of West Haven and his children Glenn, Gabrielle and Zachary Kuba, Thomas Kuba of Shelton and his children, Thomas Jr. (Kara) and Ashley and Emily Kuba, and Patrick Kuba (Jennifer) of Milford and his children, Cassidy, Alexander and Abigail Kuba, Matthew Schoonmaker (Jennifer) and their children, and her beloved aunt and uncle, Judy and Andrew Rizzo of New Haven and cousins; Joseph, Deanna, Karen and Laura.  Jessica is now forever with her favorite companion, her pup-pup.  There will be a walk-through visitation for the public on Monday, January 4th from 10:00 am – 11:30 am at THE GREGORY F. DOYLE FUNERAL HOME, 291 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford. Please follow current pandemic concerns by wearing a mask and keeping social distance. It is asked that you kindly enter the funeral home up the ramp and leave through the rear doors after greeting the family to accommodate all visitors.  Interment will be private.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ACES at 350 State Street, North Haven, CT, 06473.
