Joan A (Black) Chadbourne

Joan A. Chadbourne, age 90, of Milford, beloved wife of the late Samuel “Edward” Chadbourne, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 1, 2021.  Joan was born in Bridgeport on November 30, 1930 to the late Samuel and Irene (Hogle) Black.  She was a longtime parishioner of Saint Mary Church in Milford.  Survivors include her children: Paul Chadbourne of East Haven, Jeffrey Chadbourne (Debra) of Orange, Beverly Robillard (Joseph) of West Virginia and Karen Reynolds (Bob) of Ohio, 11 grandchildren and 7 (almost 8) great-grandchildren.  Joan is predeceased by her brothers; Harley and Robert Black and daughter-in-law, Michele Chadbourne.  Friends and family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Wednesday, May 12th at 10:30 a.m. in Saint Mary Church (Precious Blood Parish).  Interment will follow in Kings Highway Cemetery, Milford.  The Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home, Milford is handling arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Joan can be made to Precious Blood Parish, 70 Gulf Street, Milford, CT 06460.
