John Benigno Obituary

John L. Benigno, age 66, of Milford, beloved husband of Patricia Johnson Benigno for 41 years, died on Monday, December 28, 2020.  John was born in Bridgeport, CT on March 22, 1954 to the late Leonard and Irene FaustineBenigno.  He was a devout Catholic, an avid Yankees, Giants, and Rangers fan, a loving husband, a great dad, and the best papa. He loved watching country western shows, his favorite sports teams, eating Entenmann’sdonuts, drinking a good cup of coffee in the morning and a glass of amaretto when it was time to celebrate. He enjoyed a good cigar outside while in the company of his wife, best friend, or any other visitors that happened to stop by, spending time with friends and family at bonfires, holidays, and events, and most of all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren. He is still the self-proclaimed record holder for the most miles put on a car in one summer without leaving the Milford city limits. John was greatly loved by his friends and family and is already deeply missed by them.

Survivors include his children: John Paul Benigno (Sarah) of Mendham, NJ and Jenna Delvecchio (Dustin) of Lakewood, CO, three grandchildren: Emily, John and Hadden, siblings, Patricia Botsford (Richard Barton), Catherine Wilkinson (James), Leonard Benigno (Jennifer), Edward Benigno (Joann) and Teresa Longleyand many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
