Joseph Brady Obituary

Joseph L. Brady, age 96, of Milford, beloved husband of the late Mary Lynch Brady, died on Thursday, January 20, 2022, surrounded by his loving family.  Joseph was born in Derby on September 22, 1925.  He was a US Navy veteran and proudly served our country during WWII.  Joseph was also an inspector at Avco Lycoming for many years. Over the years Joseph enjoyed fishing at Osborndale State Park, playing pool at the Senior Center and also enjoyed woodworking. Joseph was a lover of all animals, feeding the birds as often as he could and hanging out with the dogs each day. He will be fondly remembered for his sense of humor, quick wit and was loved by many.

Survivors include his children: Joseph T. Brady of Norwalk, Thomas Brady and his wife Janine of Milford, Barbara Brady of Meriden, two grandchildren; Rachael and Michelle Brady of Milford and great-grandson, Peter Zelinsky. Joseph is predeceased by his mother, Phoebe Brady and brothers Robert and Gene Brady.

Family and friends may call on Wednesday, January 26th, 2022, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the GREGORY F. DOYLE FUNERAL HOME, 291 BRIDGEPORT AVENUE, MILFORD. Interment will be private.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors project.
