Joseph M DiDia

Joseph M. DiDia, age 86, beloved husband of Patricia Forlivio DiDia for 66 years, entered peaceful rest on Saturday October 14, 2023. Joseph was born in Norwalk on October 31, 1936 to the late John and Nancy Pepitone DiDia.  He was in the US National Guard for 8 years and worked as a design draftsman at Norden Systems.  Joe was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus in Milford and was a past Grand Knight for Tinto Council #47.  He was also a member of both the Milford and Shelton Senior Centers.  Survivors include his children, Cheryl Taccone (Anthony) of Norwalk, Lisa Giorgio (Bernard) of Milford and Michele D’Agostino (Jeffrey) of Milford, brother, John DiDia, Jr. (Gladys) of Fairfield, sister, Antoinette Crowl (Robert) of Michigan, six grandchildren, Christina Dustin (David), Lee Giorgio, Diana Vincent (Mark),  Paige Nihart (Brett), Meghan Giorgio and AJ Taccone and seven great-grandchildren, Grace, Fiona, Ronan, Allie , Remi , Leo and Layla and several nieces and nephews. 
Friends and family are invited to greet the family on Thursday, October 19th from 10:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. in Saint Ann Church, 501 Naugatuck Avenue, Milford.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m.  THE GREGORY F. DOYLE FUNERAL HOME has been entrusted with the arrangements.
