Laurie (Mills) Juleson

Laurie Mills Juleson, age 56 of Milford, beloved wife of George Juleson III, died peacefully on Tuesday, March 6, 2018, surrounded by her family. Laurie was born in Milford on November 20, 1961 to the late David C. Mills Jr and Theresa Semonich Mills. Survivors include her children: Allison and Emily Shannon of New Haven, stepson Robert Juleson (Kristen) of Newtown, siblings; David C. Mills IV (Kim) of Milford, William Mills of Hamden, Lynn Smith of Milford, two grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and her loving dog, Onyx. Laurie is predeceased by her sister, Judy Mills St. Onge and her stepson, George Juleson IV. A graduate of Jonathan Law High School in Milford and the Connecticut Business Institute, Laurie was a former court recorder for the City of Milford, a volunteer for the rape crisis center in Milford, and a homemaker for the past several years. Known for her love of music, she enjoyed playing guitar and was a talented songwriter. Friends and family may call on Sunday, March 11th from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm in THE GREGORY F. DOYLE FUNERAL HOME, 291 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford. A funeral service will be held at 5:30 pm. Friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Monday, March 12th at 10:30 am King’s Highway Cemetery, Milford.
