Leisa (Diotalevi) Onderko, age 63, beloved wife of 41 years to John A. Onderko, lifelong residents of Stratford, died on December 29, 2020 at CT Hospice. She was born on September 4, 1957 in Stratford and was the daughter of Eugene and Dea (Riccardi) Diotalevi of Stratford. Leisa graduated from Bridgeport Hospital Radiologic Technology Program and was an X-Ray technician for over 40 years at Advanced Radiology in Bridgeport, Stratford and Trumbull.  Leisa was a member of the Arc Angels and was a Breast Cancer Survivor of 16 years.  Leisa enjoyed her time volunteering with the Norma Pfriem Breast Center in Trumbull and loved vacationing in the islands, especially Aruba.  She also enjoyed concerts by her favorite artists, such as the Eagles, Elton John, Bruce Springsteen, the Beatles and Queen.  In addition to her husband and parents, she leaves her devoted son, Matthew A. Onderko and his wife Kayla of Shelton and her grandchild on the way, four brothers, Richard Diotalevi (Carole) of Wallingford, Randy Diotalevi (Cindy) of Vero Beach, FL, Roddy Diotalevi (Fiance, Terry Eller) of St. Helena’s Island, SC and Robert Diotalevi (Leigh) of Bluffton, SC, a special Aunt Gert, cousins; Donna (Perry), Carrie (Lee) and Stephanie (Bill), nieces; Jaina, Annadea, Renata, Gabriella, Erica, Adriana, Mia, Annika, and Marisa (Mike) Lavoie, nephews, Danny, Ronald Jr. (Shayna), Robert (Cherisse), and sisters-in-law, Maryanne (Al) Minervino, and Deborah Onderko.  Leisa is predeceased by her uncle, Harry Bukoff and brother-in-law, Ronald Onderko.  She will be dearly missed by her family and her many close friends including, Luba, Nadine, Val, Jill, Jen, Mo, Dell, Elaine, Jeanne, Michelle, Paddy, and just too many to list all.  The family would like to thank Yale New Haven Smilow Hospital especially 6 Devine Street in North Haven where everyone was extra compassionate to Leisa during her struggle.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CT Hospice, 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, CT 06405.  Services will be held in private.
