Madelyn Claire (Warminton) Jannitto

Madelyn Claire Warminton Jannitto, age 96, died peacefully on July 25th with her family by her side. She was born in Kansas City, Missouri on January 3, 1926 to the late William and Edith Warminton.  She was a graduate of SUNY, Plattsburgh, NY with a degree in Nursing Arts and Bachelor of Science in Education in 1948.  Madelyn was a Registered Nurse and worked in several local hospitals, and also spent 10 years as an associate at Caldor Department Store. 
She is survived by children Joanne and husband Paul Simoneau, Jerrilyn and husband Dan Duhamel III, John Jannitto and wife Colleen, Jeffery Jannitto and wife Susan, plus 10 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren. She is predeceased by her beloved husband John of 64 years, son Michael and brother John.
She enjoyed baking and reading. But most of all, she loved spending time with family and friends. 
Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Saturday, July 30th, at 10:00 am in St. Ann Church, 501 Naugatuck Avenue, Milford, CT.  Interment will be private.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity.
