Margaret "Peggy" (Neville) Perlis

Margaret “Peggy” (Neville) Perlis, age 77 of Stratford and previously of Milford and West Haven, beloved wife of the late Stanley Perlis, entered eternal rest on September 5, 2022.  Peggy was born in Boston, MA on September 10, 1944 to the late John and Margaret (Mahoney) Neville.

Peggy graduated from Marian High School Class of 1962, and Robie Secretarial School in 1964 and loved her years as an Executive Assistant at various companies, including E&L Instruments and the North Carolina Zoo.  Her friendly personality was one of her best traits, and she was known for faithfully sending greeting cards for all occasions to friends & family.  She was a former parishioner of Christ the Redeemer Church for several decades where she was a past member of the Ladies Guild and met some of her dearest friends. Peggy dealt with many health problems and she always persevered through more than most could imagine during her adult life, without complaining. She will be forever remembered for her smile and thoughtfulness.

Survivors include a beloved daughter, Rachael (Perlis) Klotzberger and her husband David of Milford; two loving brothers, Paul Neville and his wife, Debbie of Bristol, NH and Neil Neville and his wife, Rita of Lady Lake, FL; and a cherished granddaughter, Taylor Klotzberger. She also leaves several in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, and longtime cherished friends whom she loved dearly.   

A Memorial Mass will be held on September 24, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at Christ the Redeemer Church 325 Oronoque Road, Milford. Interment will be private/at the convenience of the family.
